I returned the EVO 840 and got the EVO 840 Pro instead from my local reseller.
So I cannot test any more into the subject.

sorry for the delay. Running 3.13.0-031300r8-generic, I cannot at the moment
reproduce the problem (Is it fixed? I hope so!) Will continue running this
kernel, until I can be sure.
