[Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3] Cannot boot from live ISO w
Dear all.
I have the same problem after upgrading from 13.04. Only now I use
ubuntu 13.10 GNOME running GDM.
[Although I had the same problem when I tried unity with lightdm -
History: I was so frustrated I tried Unity (32 & 64 bit) and now Gnome
all with the same results.]

The problem is that I'm not a good tester because I discovered that my
computer does something wierd with USB. It seems something related to

With BIOS version A09 and 3.5.0-44 on 201206-11418, system will wake itself up
after it's suspended, the power LED will blink for 1 or 2 second then it will
be resumed automatically.
Although there is no display afterward, but the system still accessible via SSH.
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version &
BTW, the system will enter the low graphic mode if you reboot the system after
this.
Reboot again could solve this low graphic mode issue.

any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an
issue? If so, could you please test for this with the latest development
release of Ubuntu server? ISO images are available from

I'm not sure whether it's an issue or not anymore. I discontinued using
gfs2 because I could not get the kernel panic to go away.

distributions. It became clear nobody uses Ubuntu for RHCS/gfs2, and I
