alx driver is not working after system resum
My laptop is HP ENVY dv6. Since the upgrade to 13.10 WiFi isn't working
reliably anymore; today I'm using 3.11.0-14-generic kernel . The only way I can
manage to work around the WiFi los is by changing the authentication method on
our AP to WEP(!). Any other authentication is broken.

failure seems to only happen for her when using the lid to suspend, but
not when using the session menu or power button.

Here is a little update on Ubuntu 14.04 dev with linux-image-generic

This laptop was ordered custom from Toshiba Direct so I beleive
Satellite L840 is the entire model number. I am looking at the sticker
right now and this is all I see...
