The laptop speakers mute when I plug in headphones, but then no audio plays.
Headphones doesn't work only if I reboot my notebook from Windows 8.
If I shutdown notebook and then boot it again, headphones work.

Ubuntu 13.10 with Linux 3.11.0-13 and the bug is still back here. Camera
works only in VLC, other software like Cheese or Skype show black screen
or artifacts. VLC every 2nd start shows too dark video (so only 1st
start the video is OK). Once I managed to see camera view in Cheeze by
changing resol
Right, one revision higher... and 13.04 worked FINE... so chances are
this will lead to nothing. I may or may not spend the time to flash
since I need to load windows to do it.

Hi Christopher,
The chord has to be removed from both the Latitude D610 and Gear4 speaker
for bluetooth to work, this was when tested with 12.04. If left connected
at the speaker no connection was made just as per the fault with Saucy.
Saucy 13.10 is has been tested with no chords connected to la

Turns out the .exe from HP has no .iso file in it, so the instructions
listed in the link you sent don't appear to be valid. So I would indeed
need to boot a recent copy of windows, easier said than done. I will
probably need to install a different hard disk and install the OS to it.
