interrupt the boot from grub, press e to edit the grub menu, find the
line of "linux /boot/xxx", add pci=... then press ctrl+x or F10 to
boot.
Or edit /etc/default/grub, add pci=... before quiet splash, save the file and
run sudo update-grub;reboot
