Yes! BT worked fine when wi-fi was turned off. The workaround helps fix

Title:
Bluetooth module doesn't work prop
With 4.15.0-041500rc2.201712031230 the speakers start playing for ca 2
seconds, then the playback source (youtube/soundcloud) fails. I need to
disconnect the device to be able to play sound again from internal
speakers. Attaching syslog.

Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a
prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v4.15 kernel[
Forgot to mention that I'm able to connect to both phone and speakers
using an external usb bt adapter. It's inconvenient though.
