kernel invalid opcode in intel_powercl
I updated the kernel from the proposed repository and verified that the
problem is fixed. The intel_powerclamp module fails to load now for
ubuntu 16.10 guests running on VMware's platform.
Kernel version - 4.8.0-28-generic.

This build works great, the driver now rightly refuses to load on VMware
platform.
