@Joseph - I haven't tested that yet as I do not have the older kernels anymore but ... ... I can confirm that it worked few months ago fine before I upgraded the kernel! ... and one more interesting fact about this bug: I cannot mount my USB device when it's plugged in before booting into Ubuntu
