4. Check if the device works -> no, can't find firmware as expected
5. Add -proposed repo and update, then install new linux-firmware

the use case we have here is backports-4.2-rc1-1 (old name compat-wireless)
as a dkms plus the vivid kernel. That's why HWE want to add the firmwares to
linux-image in vivid-updates.

which use the new firmware. In our test the old driver is not work well.

While the vivid kernel has some code to support Intel 8260, the highest
firmware API it supports is -12 whereas the first firmware Intel
released for this hardware is -13. Including the firmware in vivid isn't
going to help because the vivid kernel isn't going to use it.
