I hadn't tried doing that but i tried it now and nothing changed again.
Putting an underscore instead of a dash also didn't change anything.

echo "blacklist dell-laptop" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf
Also, this is powerprofilesctl list with kernel 6.11.0-8-generic

Tried starting with Kernel version 6.8.0-45-generic. I can now enable both
power saving and performance mode, but the high temperature warning is still
there.
powerprofilesctl list says:
