I did it I think, but I'm not entirely sure if I did it right. Everything is still the same. This is what I did: sudo su echo "blacklist dell-laptop" >> /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf Also, this is powerprofilesctl list with kernel 6.11.0-8-generic zeldaoot@z

Tried starting with Kernel version 6.8.0-45-generic. I can now enable both power saving and performance mode, but the high temperature warning is still there. powerprofilesctl list says: zeldaoot@zeldaoot-Inspiron-5558:~$ powerprofilesctl list * performance: CpuDriver: intel_pstate
