I confirm that brightness is broken in Dell OptiPlex 7780, Kernel
6.11.0-9-generic, and Ubuntu 24.10. The workaround proposed in #13 does
not work for me.

In case it helps, I'm also affected by this bug, but for a prior version
of the kernel: 5.4.0-56-lowlatency on Ubuntu Studio. Booting with the
previous kernel version (5.4.0-54-lowlatency) restores the Ethernet
interface.

I've tested my notebook with Ubuntu 16.04 (64-bit) LiveUSB pen drive and
the mini-pci Qualcomm Atheros QCWB335 [168c:0036] properly works, both
wifi and bluetooth.
After a fresh install from the same LiveUSB pen drive, the bluetooth do
not work.
$ bluetooth
bluetooth = none
I have the same problem in my HP notebook on Ubuntu 16.04 (64-bit) with
a replaced mini-pci Qualcomm Atheros [168c:0036] adapter.
There is an odd behaviour. When I boot the same notebook with the same
Ubuntu 16.04 (64-bit) but LiveUSB, both wifi and bluetooth properly
works.
