tree (aside from 65263bf16116 and 3f89e62cf14c, which both revert
changes that are not in that tree), it works. The option for SOF support

Yes I agree with that. From your earlier message, I couldn't tell if it
was clear that the settings were chosen by the distro (several of them),
not accidentall
