Public bug reported: I have Ubuntu 15.10 installed, and all was working fine. Then I accepted some software updates and my mouse pointer no longer appears. If I plug in an external USB mouse then all is fine, but I want to use the touchpad - it was working, doesn't now. cat /proc/bus/input/device
