Could you please build a test kernel which is:
1) based on https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1667531
2) AND, with including the missing patches of this bug.
Thanks,
Simon

bondvf.sh is used by Linux VM on HyperV to bond netvsc interface (for example
eth0) with VF interface (for example, enP1p0s2) and show as a bond interface

This is a one time setup work when a new VM come up.
For the source code package of this V3 test kernel, yes, please p
1) The bondvf.sh is not put into /usr/sbin as requested by the bug title.
Instead, it is only available at /usr/src/linux-headers-4.4.0-65/tools/hv
2) Can you please build the full source code package and share it? The current
source package is almost empty:
linux-source-4.4.0_4.4.0-65.86~lp166
Do you mean the "two patches" from bug #1667531?
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1667531
Where can I get a test kernel for test right now? Thanks!

The test kernel in comment #7 will crash the kernel.
Please apply the patches mentioned in this bug to below test kernel which is

Same kernel crash issue found on the v2 kernel (Comment #5).
This is the known good kernel:

Could you please apply the patch of this bug to that kernel?

Could you please build the test kernel based on this one:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1667527
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~jsalisbury/lp1667527/xenial/
Thus, we will have a test kernel with all the patches and it would be
the test kernel for the full SR-IOV tests.

A quick test on the kernel in comment #14:
Mellanox CX3 VF device is not showing up when booting up with this test kernel:
4.4.0-64-generic.
Looks like this is a regression from 4.4.0-63-generic. In 4.4.0-63-generic, the
VF presented correctly.
