Hi. To confirm, this issue does not happen after updating to Lenovo X201
BIOS v1.40 (from v1.05), so while this did not affect a Windows 8.1
installation previously, I think it's safe to say this is not an Ubuntu
bug, but firmware-related.

I have noticed that a newer BIOS is available from Lenovo for the X201,
and two of the reported changes between this newer, and my current,
version refer to resume fixes..
I will test after an update and then update this bug report.

Upon waking Lenovo X201 from Suspend, system appears to be running (fans
etc. on) but screen does not power on.
Happened with up-to-date 13.10, so trying with 14.04 Beta and
unfortunately the issue still persists.
