I finally managed to fix this using the answer linked here:

upgrade-to-23-10/1502550#1502550. It was due to some broken nvidia-
related symlinks.

After upgrading from 23.04 to 23.10, my laptop can't sleep: when trying
to sleep, it immediately wakes up again. This occurs when no peripherals
(Bluetooth anything, keyboard, monitor etc.) are connected too.
I have tried toggling "wakeup devices" in /proc/acpi/wakeup as in
