I probably have the same issue:

I also noticed 100% utilization of a single CPU thread (by the kernel) when
this happens.
Probably same issue as

kernel worker event freezes during traffic on iwlwifi)

Following instructions provided by @cjjefcoat, I managed to get kernel -116

It turns out that just removing the "ppa:ubuntu-toolchain-r/test" ppa and
reinstalling the gcc-4.8 wasn't sufficient to get it downgraded to "gcc (Ubuntu

I can use my Ubuntu 14.04.05 with kernel 4.4.0-112-generic normally, but

Thank you for this answer. I didn't notice that Saucy isn't supported
anymore. There is no problem under 14.10 version. I am sorry for

My Ubuntu system doesn't see graphics card (NVidia GeForce GT740M) at

the internet didn't work as well. I wold appreciate help.
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.10
Package: linux-image-3.11.0-26-g
On my machine I fixed it adding "resume=/dev/sda8" option to
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT line in /etc/default/grub, as desribed in:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/PowerManagement/Hibernate
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pm-utils/+bug/939805

Same here.
With 3.13.0-27-generic:
"Error: command ['pacmd', 'list'] failed with exit code 1: No PulseAudio
daemon running, or not running as session daemon."
With 3.11.0-19-generic kernel - hibernation works with no problems.
The only difference is a different machine.
