I just tried the latest 4.11 rc 6 kernel, as well as older kernels down
to 4.2. No result. This does not seem to be kernel based. Perhaps
something to do with libinput?

Same error here: pen can move cursor and click on things but no pressure
sensitivity. It worked perfectly before. I have a Sony Vaio Duo 13 and
an HP Pavilion X2. I believe both use N-trig tech. If it helps I can
post any info you might need.

Thanks for trying to fix this! I have the same hardware and error as
described above. I now updated my BIOS to F.14 and installed kernel
4.8-rc4, but no result. Touchpad is still non-working.
