Afaik I've tested with the kernel as requested and it seems to happen
there as well. Also I tested using VXLAN and the same or alike panics
seems to happen there too .

But I can verify that if I go back to the old kernel I see "packet
drops" and I have problems with stuff like browsing to it and
connections seems to be flaky.
