This is the first version we checked specifically for this issue, we don't have
yet a good/bad proposed comparison set of versions.

Missed the reply on this thread, my apologies.
I tried now to install the packages from those ppa's, however apt will not
detect the kernels.
I've added the ppa repo and did an #apt update, but apt will then not detect
neither of the kernels, so I mus t be doing something wrong.
On another note,
Issue with 'Invalid kvp dependency scripts path /usr/libexec/hypervkvpd'
remains in latest kernel-image bionic 4.15.0-38.41.

We verified the test kernel for Trusty from comment #8, however it does
not seem to be resolving the issue, as we ran into a different issue.
With the test kernel 3.13.0-105.152~lp1636656_amd64 the VM is loosing network
connectivity if we corrupt the packages and transfer a file.

We've completed the testing of the kernels provided.
The issue is resolved in the test kernels and we've also ran a sanity check for
the netvsc driver, with no issues.

Hi Joe,
We did look at http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~jsalisbury/lp1400319/ however that
folder has the 32bit kernel and binaries.
As this bug is in regards to the 32bit architecture, we would need the i386
kernel actually.

[Hyper-V] storvsc messages for CD-ROM me
We've tested the kernel ~rtg/hv-lp1616677 provided and it passed the
quality and functional testing.
There are 2 issues that are to be handled:
- missing SR-IOV patches - see comments #6 and #7. These should be included.
- kdump triggered through NMI doesn't work. We'll identify the missing patche

[Hyper-V] Rebase Hyper-V to 4.6 kernel
Status in linux
We have a patch that was created for 32bit and testing it now it's also
resolving the upstream 32bit boot issue.
Waiting for it to be accepted in upstream, so we should be done with any of the
current bisect work.
