The fix is also working for me under Focal. My system does not have a
'1022:148c' USB device, but I can't see a good reason why it wouldn't
work exactly the same as the other two devices. Additional verification
is welcome.

the wider community, but I was hoping this particular fix would make it
into 20.04.
Is there a pathway for getting this patch into the kernel that
