Can confirm that I can use the device with single antenna connected to
Aux port
The connection is however 'choppy' and the signal is still weaker (in
real terms and via UI readout)
Assume the device is designed to be used with loop antenna as stated by
dark-vader : )
I was a little eager to jump
I have solved this issue
It was a hardware issue
the antenna for the card was connected to the main pin
it works when connected to the aux pin

Kernel 3.19.0-26 will not run on my machine hangs during boot everytime
I think thats because of irq error (i915) but its not solved till 3.19.0-33
(and thats glitchy)

I Put the attached new firmware in
/lib/firmware/rtlwifi/
but could only try 3.19.0-33
not 3.19.0-26 as recommended
trying to get that kernel now

tried in G Mode (54Mbps) showed and connected weak at 3 feet and then dropped
tried in N mode (300Mbps) didnt even show the access point in NM
also tested on Netgear hub running DD-WRT but that is circum
still no good same as 4.2.6
tried daily Ubuntu build on usb and its the same too.
