[ Impact ]
On some machine with Mediatek USB bluetooth controller, activate
scanning will lead to system hang. This is due to unexpected null
pointer dereference in the set up flow.
[ Fix ]
Cherry-pick one commit from mainline linux:
61c5a3def90a (Bluetooth: btmtk: adj
Tested on the machine where this issue originally happened. The error
message no longer show.

Bluetooth can't be turned on, after turning it off ma
It seems like lenovo are doing this more regularly. I bought a new
laptop last year, and they again restricted in the bios the ability to
change between raid and ahci. I took too long to change and realise
thats an issue, and other similar older laptops in the range support
linux.

On Dell PowerEdge system SR-IOV virtual function interface are not
registering after enabling SR-IOV on Broadcom Network Cards.
Steps to Reproduce: -
1. Navigate to the "Device Settings" section related to the installed NIC,
Select "Virtualization Mode" and
enable "SR-
6.11.0-061100-generic produced the crash at boot time this morning (7th
boot with that kernel).
So I'm back with 6.12.3-061203-generic, as that seems to have removed
the problem.
