I am not an expert, Linux distributions have become some complex that I do not
understand them anymore.
What I can say is that:
1) I do not need "sudo" to run the "amixer" command (but it works with
sudo too)
2) amixer gives me exactly the same output, so it should not be a
problem.

fstab mistake. The behavior seems un-changed from previous observations
(drops to the same recovery console). I believe this would still result
