Hi Michael,
I installed a brand new 24.04 and applied your kernel updates, the
linux-cloud-tools and linux-tools were unable to be installed, but this
shouldn't have affected the process.
After a reboot I used the firmware-nic-is-intel ./setup file after and I
encountered no issues during the upd

Just tested VM 6.1.50 with Ubuntu kernel 5.15.0-119-generic.
Confirmed that it starts and works normally as expected according to the 119
kernel changelog.

Recent upgrade of the Linux kernel from 6.5 to 6.8 on Ubuntu 22.04 broke
my wifi atheros device functionality. Errors I am getting are pretty
much the same error in kernel log. The regression makes my wifi
unusable.
