Indeed https://bugs.launchpad.net/apparmor/+bug/1384746/comments/2
should be tracked else where. It really should split out into two
separate tracking issues.
1. either generating the feature file from the kernel on build. To track
this I have opened https://gitlab.com/apparmor/apparmor/-/issues/2
This is indeed upstream, and works as far as it goes. There are
currently issues when crossing system namespace boundaries but those are
being treated as separate issues. The stacking it self works policy when
crossing ns boundaries has to be aware of it and more relaxed than we
would like.

A recent upgrade (seemingly 5.53-0ubuntu3.5) broke Bluetooth

Thanks to macg3, the workaround you suggested works for me on kernel
5.4.0-99.112. There is one correction. The name of the audio driver is
snd_usb_audio and not snd-usb-audio. So in my case after a fresh boot
the webcam did not work, and after executing:
sudo modprobe -r snd_usb_audio
sudo modpro

I see this is "Fix Released" everywhere but on the upstream AppArmor
project. I understand this has made its way upstream and works with
mainline kernel, e.g. for LXC. If my understanding is incorrect, please
clarify what's left to do here (or perhaps track it on a finer-grained
follow-up bug :)

It seems to me this was fixed & released a while ago.

tracked on a new, follow-up bug, if still desired.
