Installed the test kernel from comment #8 on a 14.10 server VM.
Everything looks good. IPerf3 ran with no issues. The two Hyper-V
hosts used for the test only had 1GB NICs, so iperf reported 920MB
throughput.

The strange thing is that both the Samsung GS4 and the GS5 I owned before
always connected seamlessly. My BQ Aquaris is a different story, though. I
had once suggested that Canonical uses reverse engineering to solve this
issue, but I never received any feedback :(
