I indeed have an exact same issue with Hyper-V gen 2. In Lubuntu I came
across that after install I couldn't press enter to continue reboot
after media eject. Also, if restarted manually, it gets stuck at hd
encryption password query. Indeed the fix has been partial as it is not
system-wide.

Also, in the above test case the interface has to be unplugged and re-
plugged when jackd is stopped and restarted, otherwise another error
occurs.
I also tried with another (USB1.1) interface and there is no such
problem.

Further testing reveals the interface works with playback only at 44.1kHz, 1024
frames, 3 periods.
However there are continual clicks when playing audio, while jackd does not
report xruns.
Jackd does start at 48 or 96 kHz, or with 128 frames/period, but then there is

/var/run/reboot-required not set after unattended kernel update

Public bug reported:
After upgrading the linux kernel package, the /var/run/reboot-required
file does not exist.
This file is required for unattended-upgrades to know when to reboot the
system. More info here: http://askubuntu.com/q/560539/17290

Err, besides that, accepting files via bluetooth IS broken.
Even though "Receive files over bluetooth", at random times it starts rejecting
all files again.
The workaround is to switch "Receive files over bluetooth" off and then on
again. That fixes the issue, at least for me.

Behringer UMC404 USB2 audio in
Public bug reported:
My audio interface, a Behriger UMC404, disappears from both lsusb and
/proc/asound/cards as soon as I start jackd (JACK 2). This results in
jackd failing because the card is missing. It reports a "protocol error"
which I think refers to the USB link. See attached syslog messag
