Intel NUC D54250WYK w/ Intel 7260.HMWG on Ubuntu 14.04 -> Constant

I also can't seem to lock onto a 5GHz signal, but that's probably

It's impossible to shutdown or log out the system using Control Panel
menu in upper right corner in 14.04 LTS only if terminal, anytime I do
log out or shut down it just hangs. This bug also persists on my friends

I have this problem too. I tried running appport-collect (Kubuntu/KDE
desktop). It opened a chromium browser window and asked for my
authorization, but appport-collect never got beyond "Waiting to hear…"
so I hit ^C
$ apport-collect 1311098
