Re. #24, I was able to get the driver to compile, but not actually work, by
adding your changes and additionally changing
__vlan_hwaccel_put_tag(skb, vid)
to
__vlan_hwaccel_put_tag(skb, htons(ETH_P_8021Q), vid);
I saw that they used the same value in fixing the Realtek driver here:

It gave the same error window as indicated in the bug title. Sorry I
didn't specifically mention that.

Okay, the fix for this is to disable FXAA antialiasing in nvidia-

Public bug reported:
CONFIG_MEMCG_KMEM is disabled in the trusty kernel. It's the

touchscreen, with Unity. So far so good.
Thank you for all your efforts on this.

I used the discard mount option as it seems to be the most efficient to detect
this misbehavior.
And then I started:

jonata, yes, but you can install new kernel from Ubuntu Kernel PPA, as example
http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v3.15-rc1-trusty/
Also it is very interesting - which version of kernel will present in
Ubuntu 14.10 testing? Will Canonical skip 3.14 version and start testing
