suite as shuch, but by just updgrading the os using 'apt-get dist-

BIOS v1.40 (from v1.05), so while this did not affect a Windows 8.1
installation previously, I think it's safe to say this is not an Ubuntu

I just tried running three 1080p movies and one 1080p youtube video. In
Ubuntu the temperature got up to 98 degrees celsius and the laptop shut
down. In Windows 7 the temperature stayed between 87-91 degrees during
the same test.
I also tried different versions of the kernel between 3.11.0-12 and
Joseph: I have no idea, updates are coming all the time. I have 5
different versions of the Kernel, I can run some HD movies and see which
versions get hot.
