FALSE; you need to learn more about Unix and strictly Unix-like GNU/Linux, the
only such one being Slackware, listed above. Strictly Unix[-like] like

To elaborate, my /etc/localtime is US/Pacific (not just Los Angeles) but in
KDE's settings, some weeks ago (about when PDT became PST) KDE changed it's own
settings from Los Angeles (standard city for most of USA's Pacific

I have to add to that report - it seems that Kmail now remembers the position
it had when exiting kmail through the tray. So that might be a workaround if
someone encounters the same problem :)
