It would be a funny effect to add, but don?t you have to fill in some
nice wish report somwhere? I am not familiar with this group.

One day I got proxy clips to work, but after some upgrade I have
troubles I can not solve by my own
I use Ubuntu 11.04
Kde 7.4.2
kdenlive 0.8.3+git20120115.5146194b-0ubuntu0~sunab~natty1
libmlt++3 0.7.7+git20120115.4a19e86c-0ubuntu0~sunab~natty1
libmlt4 0.7.7+git20120115.4a19e86c-0ubu
afterwards. Just installing the
latest did never work for me.
Now I have some stuff downgraded and the proxies are created but on the
timeline only stills are shown and no moving video.

Thanks, but I dont compile myself.
I just update and remove nothing, that? the problem? What should I do to

Finally got it to work again by updating libavcodec-53
and changing proxy settings to
-f avi -acodec copy -vcodec mpeg2video -g 5 -r 25 -deinterlace -s
800x450 -b 6000K

A few thoughts:
Is the destination name Unique or just ?untitled?
Is the used freir and MLT up to date and matching with the kdenlive release
is libavcodec-extra-53 installed
