completely different purpose from what kdenlive is striving to be. If
kdenlive is premier pro, then natron is after effects. Natron can do
many things that cannot be done in kdenlive or can't be done as
complex. Natron would go with kd

I don't see why not. I don't think natron needs to be a dependency for
kdenlive to be used, but a degree of integration between the two is
definitely possible without going crazy with things.

Formats compatibility, interoperation / interaction, can be a bit more
concrete, but maybe not enough.
You could open concrete feature requests at each project, to ask for
concrete actions that produce concrete results.

I think advertising natron on kdenlive.org is the simplest solution for the
time being as well as bundling natron with kdenlive when downloaded.
