Try to burn on a USB disk the latest version (13.1) using SUSE Studio
Imagewriter [0] and reinstall the OS. In this case, i think you can't
use the upgrade option since openSUSE 11.3 is too old.

Perhaps it's an issue related to *buntu and/or KDE. This version of Qt
doesn't cause issues on Arch Linux, not using KDE.
