Are there currently any plans/effort on porting libgcal + akonadi-googledata.

If it is not already installed it is a bug in a port
and you should report it as a missing dependency.

nstalled with kdebase-workspace. Have you added it in /etc/ttys:
ttyv8 "/usr/local/kde4/bin/kdm -nodaemon" xterm on secure
the kde path is not added to my path either but you can easily put it in
.cshrc or in .profile. I have in .cshrc
setenv PATH /usr/local/kde4/bin:$PATH
ince you build with cmake, why do you have to edit configure in
post-extract? The configure script for that port is a handwritten hack
to hide cmake. It even uses bash.
