Yesterday I updated to KDE 4.5.1 and it is not the same as before. Settings
which I had in 4.4 gone. System sound doesn't works and there are no options
for settings (I didn't find), some screensavers works some not...(it is not
important to me but...).

Update on my ten years old computer was very good, thank you :).
Everything works fine as before and I have a feeling that is a little slow
than before but I need to start thinking about new one :).

It is an old problem:
kuickshow does not display jpg/png images
No problem viewing images using gwenview
Click a selection, view window pops up and is black.

I have still installed Kuickshow 0.9.2 on my KDE 4.6.5 and it doesn't works
still. I have to used it all the time on KDE 3 but on KDE 4 never works for
me. It open but there are no picture, just white or black window.

It happened three times on my new installed FreeBSD 9.0 RC-2 during building
KDE 4. Two times stopped when I built kde4-workspace and once in kdelibs4.

On FreeBSD 9.0 RC-2 (new install) I installed KDE 4.7.3 and also kdegames4.
Whatever game I open it shows just a gray window. The same is with Marble.
Installation was succesful but there are so many problems.
I did reinstall kdegames4 and marble but it is the same.

startkde
and than I start with startx.

I have KDE 4.7.3 installed and I saw that 4.7.4 is in ports. I know that 4.8
final version should be out soon and my question is: is it better to wait for
version 4.8 or update to 4.7.4 (my comp. is not so fast and I don't like to
waste tme).

Why I am upset but not just me?
I am running KDE 4.8 from January on my Linux computer. Now is almost June and
we got KDE 4.8 on FreeBSD too. 5 months testing and it works? No. The modern
OS for the desktop computer doesn;t works. O.K. OS works but installatoon of 5
months testing of KDE doesn;
