Image viewer gwenview needs 27 secs to start

I'm used to use gwenview for image viewing and manipulating. Since I updated to recent ports (via git at September 22, exact version see below) the start is VERY lazy. It takes 27 secs to present the image when started with 'gwenview file.jpg' from a shell. Any ideas or help? matthias
