The suggested patch for x11/libxkbcommon in comment 14 above seems to have
fixed this issue for me with the down arrow key and end key.
However keyboard repeat doesn't work for any key.

Key repeat works just fine for me too without any issues.

Activating windows on the taskbar using a Meta+Digit (Meta=Win) buttons works
fine for me without any issues. I have latest packages installed.
