For the transition from KDE4 to KDE5 I have two more silly questions: In
my HOME the KDE4 configuration is below ~/.local and ~/.kde4. When I now
start KDE5 for the first time, will this (the desktop) somehow migrated,
as far as possible? Or will it even be in the way and should be deleted

I did a "make fetchindex" INDEX12 ist there.
I now did a "make index" to generate INDEX12

This turns out to be more than a FreeBSD issue. The Adelie folks also see this
problem on Linux. So it's a big-endian issue in general (spans 32-bit and
64-bit BE).

That doesn't say explicitly if it recurses. We need to confirm whether these
make targets are designed to recurse or not. Probably portmgr@ should
