Hi Alonso
This issue appears also on FreeBSD 9 not only on 8, because the
default compiler is still gcc and the default C++ library is the old
one.
only in FreeBSD 10 and CURRENT the issue doesn't appear.
could you please commit these patches also to the official ports tree?
thanks in advance

As suggested, I've also proposed the solution to the mainstream.

Unfortunately I was in bad moon and I had a not-so-polite reaction in
the last comment in the bug report...

Hi guys,
I'm updating KDE SC to 4.9.5. Thanks for the great job!
Updating Amarok, I get this error message:
/usr/ports/audio/amarok-kde4/work/amarok-2.7.0/src/playlistgenerator/constraints/PlaylistFileSize.cpp:175:
error: integer constant is too large for 'long' type

Hi people.
After a half day test, I experienced again the shared memory problem
(ok, heavy graphic usage, but a realistic pattern as well).
That means 16384 is too low for a generic and realist usage. 32768 is
a better and safer value.

Luca

Hi David.
I' had a similar issue with similar messages..
Try to set a higher value to kern.ipc.shmall
I had 8192 that was really inadequate and I set 16384.

de the fix to FreeBSD users, where the error is
relevant; current Linux distros normally use a recent gcc, which
provides the -std option.

Hi to all.
The last KDevelop 4.3 has a problem to correctly detect the system
include path (used by the code parser)
I've found the problem and this is the patch (tested on my system
8.2). Is it possible to add this patch to devel/kdevelop-kde4 port?
The problem is that KDevelop asks the system's
I've tested it only with the current ports tree, not with area51. But
I'm currently using it on my FreeBSD 8.2 system.
I also built kdeplatform using redports on several FreeBSD version.
Failure with CLANG only.

Do you have a NVidia graphic card?
recently (with the new KDE) a bug fix version of X11 is released, and
you need to reinstall the NVidia driver to restore the right/legacy
OpenGL library.

Hi, k...@freebsd team!
I'm Luca. I write to you, maintainer of the kdevelop 4 port, because
I've not yet found a solution of my problem... Hoping you could help
me...
My system is a FreeBSD 7.3 with ports tree daily updated (I build
everything from sources).
I found a problem launching the Debug
