I'm trying to follow the canonical Xorg 7.4 approach, which appears to
use hald/dbus. The solution is to write a simple script that executes
/usr/local/kde4/bin/kdm in /usr/local/etc/rc.d; this starts KDE4 after
hald/dbus have started and the keyboard and mouse work.

If I install misc/konq-plugins-4.2.0, konqueror crashs with a SIGSEGV.
Konqueror works fine without it.
Does it work for you?

however having mixed qt4 parts of several versions is not supposed. Qt
provides single package for qt4 and it doesn't support by component build.
