I've built kdelibs4 and the kdebase4 ports. No problems noticed during build.
However, running the KDE4 desktop is agonizingly slow. It takes about two
minutes to login, and individual apps taking over a minute to start. While

yes, nvidia card on amd64 :)
In the default style, the kapplication menu launcher (the start menu)
shows only the black border with nothing in it but a transparent area
with the desktop background shining through.
The Home folder plasmoid itself doesn't show up, that means the opaque
part of it
