ok, so then how do i make opening the lid a user interaction? This (opening the
lid and having the display turn on) is not new behavior, it has always worked
on earlier versions of KDE. I can't say exactly when

This works as expected on Wayland.
The monitors sleep and do not wake until i move the mouse or press a key
I only did brief testing but this defect shows up quickly

Will the downloaded debug stuff be persistent? e.g after a zyppper dup if i
download new symbols wilt the old ones be replaced? if the old symbols are out
dated after an update how do i delete them?
