No crashes in the 4 days since turning off Unit Converter and restarting the
machine.
I can confirm that Unit Converter caused the problem.

I stopped the ntp synchronization, turned off the Global Menu and removed the
Individual Core Usage widget. Now I don't know about any extra settings.
I look forward to the result.
