The problem has gotten much worse for me on openSUSE Tumbleweed.
Nearly half of my feed is now populated by wrongly dated feeds (all dated to

I am now running KMail 5.1.2, and the workaround method no longer works.
I am back to downloading the message separately before I am able to decrypt the
message.
