I vanished again. So, this is what I did:
1. Right clicked on expander arrow, and selected "Configure System Tray.
2. Found "Networks (Automatic Load)
3. Changed to Disabled
4. Clicked Apply

Welp...it vanished again. I did try
sudo systemctl restart network-manager.service
from the terminal, and it brought back the icon.

Just an update that this is still happening.
Oneway to reproduce is to copy a single Email to an empty folder then delete
it. The body of the message is still shown after deletion.

Yep nVidia 470.xx here - Single Monitor. As mentioned it works OK in Wayland if

FWIW, I had this issue after upgrading to Plasma 5.22.0 and Gear 21.04.2.
A couple of day later I upgraded to Frameworks 5.83 and the problem was solved,
so I didn't need to upgrade to Plasma 5.22.1

Same here. And what's more annoying if any app tries to show any kde-related
file dialog (like opening or saving file in Chrome etc.) system first shows the

Some improvement with KDE 6.0 beta 2, in that as far as I have tested, the only
Trash sound that does not work is when the Bin is being emptied. The
