Can't reproduce on Alpine Linux with 8.61-r1 either. Even better, it works with
a hardware key for 2FA which I didn't expect at all. So this definitely seems
like an Ubuntu-only problem.

I haven't experienced this problem after updating from 5.27.4 to 5.27.6.
For Fedora 37 users, you need to upgrade to Fedora 38 to get Plasma 5.

Same thing happens when doing "Switch user" from the lock screen.
So, anything that requires re-displaying SDDM does not work: logout and switch
users. But shutdown and reboot work.
