Additionally the issue cannot be reproduced on Gnome Wayland, so it still looks
like an issue with KDE itself.

FWIW, I can't reproduce with mousepad.
They might find a log of WAYLAND_DEBUG=1 mousepad in your bug report there.

But it is not just a problem with sublime text, mousepad is also affected.
