OK, after some testing, this actually happens on GTK3, not GTK2 apps. I tested
this on a separate account - this is not a user issue.
Could you please test on one of the apps I tested this on? Tested with:
-Pavucontrol
-Ge

I understood, that's why I tried gimp, which is still gtk2.
